About
Engineer by craft. African by heart. Builder by purpose.
Core stack
I'm a Senior Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience building world-class enterprise software with a focus on Full Stack Web Development. Currently, I'm working for Bestseller, a Danish fashion multinational, through its affiliated Tech hub Vertland Africa in Kigali, Rwanda. Originally from Niamey, Niger, I build clean, scalable systems at the intersection of global tech and African development.
I build full-stack systems with a focus on clarity, scalability, and solid architecture — prioritizing what actually works in production.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the African Leadership University (ALU) in Mauritius.
Beyond coding, I'm passionate about tech education and helping people especially young African professionals develop 21st century skills.

Selected projects
A curated selection of problems I've solved and systems I've built.
Enterprise Demand Planning & ERP Integration — Bestseller
At Bestseller, a global fashion group operating across 70+ countries, I contribute to building internal software tools that directly support how the business plans and forecasts demand at scale. I work on a full planning tool enabling planning teams to forecast demand and place supplier orders across multiple markets, while also participating in a critical data migration from a legacy system to a modern cloud infrastructure through Azure Synapse and more. Beyond the core application, I designed and implemented integration points connecting the platform to internal ERP systems and services via Kafka, ensuring reliable data flow across the business.
→ Building the forecasting and ordering backbone that keeps a global fashion giant's supply chain moving.
Loan Automation & Core Banking Integration — MCB
At MCB, one of the leading banking groups in the Indian Ocean region, I contributed to building and deploying multiple loan products through robust web applications backed by microservices. One of my most significant contribution was reducing the loan application turnaround time from six days to one day by automating the entire process using Camunda Decision Tables — a transformation that directly impacted customer experience and operational efficiency at scale. I also built integration layers connecting the applications to core banking systems and internal services, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange across the institution.
→ Cut loan processing time by 83% — from six days to one — through intelligent process automation at a leading African bank.
Global Talent Matching Platform — Talenteum
Talenteum is a platform connecting employers from around the world with job seekers, with a particular focus on African talent markets. Working within an Agile team, I contributed to building the core matching web application from the ground up, developing modular backend components designed to meet evolving user needs and improve platform usability. I also maintained the application through six months of production support, owning the troubleshooting and resolution of live issues to ensure platform stability for a growing user base.
→ Helped build the platform connecting African talent to global employers — and kept it running reliably in production.
Pan-African Real Estate Investment Platform — Koniba
Koniba is a pan-African real estate crowdfunding platform making property investment accessible to individuals across Africa and the diaspora. I led the full-stack development of the MVP end-to-end — architecting a complete investment lifecycle covering KYC identity verification, multi-channel wallet top-up (card, mobile money, bank transfer), fund escrow, automated disbursement, and PDF contract generation. I also built a comprehensive backoffice with role-based access control, KYC review workflows, and a double-validation withdrawal process, all underpinned by production-grade security including JWT authentication, encrypted sensitive fields, and signed S3 document storage.
→ Architected and delivered an entire investment platform from KYC to fund disbursement — making African real estate accessible to the diaspora.
Personal Development Learning PWA — Shasha Network
Shasha Network's Bridge Program is a personal development program delivering courses in multiple formats — video, audio, text, and interactive quizzes. I built a Progressive Web Application in Angular that brings these learning experiences to life through a rich, interactive UI, with learner progress and account data persisted in real time via Firestore. The application was fully adapted to the company's brand identity, delivering a cohesive and polished experience across devices.
→ Built a multi-format learning PWA that tracks every learner's journey in real time across video, audio, and interactive content.
